Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Bridge (Suleiman the Magnificent Bridge) is a historic Ottoman-era stone bridge spanning the Büyükçekmece Lake on Istanbul's European side. Designed by the legendary architect Mimar Sinan in the 16th century, the bridge was part of a crucial trade and military route connecting Istanbul to the Balkans. Stretching 636 meters with 28 arches, it exemplifies Sinan’s engineering brilliance, ensuring stability and longevity despite centuries of use.
